About Laura

Hi, I’m Laura. Health Coach, and a beauty industry professional for over 10 years.

In my early twenties, I was in poor health. Chronic digestive issues, painful eczema flare-ups, fatigue, brain fog. It had all just become my normal. I was a regular at the GP, and I'd come to believe that temporary relief was better than no relief at all. I didn't yet realise that feeling that way wasn't something I simply had to accept.

I began my career on the buying team at Net-A-Porter, looking after Skincare and Wellness. It was my first real introduction to a wellness world that was often noisy, but it also connected me with incredible founders and leaders in health and supplements. Those conversations ignited a fascination with the body's ability to heal, and became the catalyst for my own journey into alternative approaches to health.

Then I fell down a rabbit hole. I became fixated on reversing my symptoms without allopathic medicine. I tried every supplement, diet and alternative therapy I could find. Eastern approaches, Western approaches, expensive approaches. And yet I only seemed to perpetuate my symptoms. I was deflated, and starting to come to terms with the possibility that this might just be my baseline.

It wasn't until I started reading more deeply that I understood why. My foundations weren't in place. No supplement, practitioner or protocol can compensate for consistently poor sleep, unmanaged stress, inadequate nutrition or a lack of movement. I'd been searching for solutions on top of poor foundations the whole time.

Once I took the time to actually nurture and understand each of those pillars, nutrition, sleep, stress and movement, I became free of my symptoms. What followed was the most energetic, clearest and creative period of my life.

The impact was so profound that I wanted to understand it properly. In 2024, I formalised my studies and graduated from the College of Naturopathic Medicine as a Health Coach, just before becoming a mum to my son.

"The approach l've built is the one I wish had existed for me 10 years ago."

I believe good health belongs to everybody. And often, the most powerful changes come not from doing more, but from getting the foundations right.

Rooted sits at the intersection of everything I’m drawn to: feeling well, creativity, food, motherhood and the wisdom of traditional cultures. It’s a space where health feels less clinical and more connected to everyday life, how we eat, rest, move, create and care for the people around us.
